Faculty of Natural Sciences Psychology Research Ethics Committee (PSY FREC)

The Psychology Faculty Research Ethics Committee (PSY FREC) is responsible for reviewing research projects proposed by staff and postgraduate research (PGR) students in the Faculty of Natural Sciences-Psychology that do not require Central REC (CREC) or External REC review under the Central REC Review Criteria (PDF, 452kb).

See ‌Selecting a REC (PDF, 154kb) to help you confirm that the PSY FREC is the appropriate REC for your application.

As well as following the instructions on these pages, at all stages of your research project, you should also consider what other guidance or processes might also apply to your research project.
