Keele Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence Educational Research Ethics Committee (KIITE EREC)

The Keele Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence Educational Research Ethics Committee (KIITE EREC) is responsible for reviewing research projects proposed by staff and postgraduate research (PGR) students from any Faculty or Unit within Keele University where the project uses pedagogic (method and practice of teaching) literature and investigation methods and that does not require Central REC (CREC) or External REC review under the Central REC Review Criteria (PDF, 452kb).

See ‌Selecting a REC (PDF, 154kb) to help you confirm that the KIITE EREC is the appropriate REC for your application.

As well as following the instructions on these pages, at all stages of your research project, you should also consider what other guidance or processes might also apply to your research project.
