HOW TO APPLY TO A KEELE UNIVERSITY RESEARCH ETHICS COMMITTEE
Before embarking on your REC application, you must ensure that you are applying to the correct REC. Each University REC has its own Homepage, which contain specific templates and requirements for that Committee. If you are unsure about which REC you need to apply to, review the Central REC Review Criteria (PDF, 452kb)and refer to the flow diagram.
If you are not based in a Faculty and your research does not fall under the CREC Criteria, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
How do I apply to a University REC?
Each of the six University RECs has its own defined processes and documentation. You should familiarise yourself with the requirements of the applicable REC before making an application for ethical review of your research project.
You should ensure that you use the template documents available on the webpage of your particular REC and ensure that you follow the submission process carefully. Failure to follow the guidance on the REC webpages may result in your application being rejected or delayed.
If you are applying for ethical review related to a Programme of Work, ensure that you read the guidance at Programme of Work before proceeding with an application.
