Global Challenges Research Network

Keele has identified three GCRF Champions. These are researchers with a track record of working with regional partners to develop successful global research funding proposals.

The role of the GCRF Champions is to:

  • Work with School Research Directors, Institute Directors and the RaISE team to promote and disseminate global research funding opportunities
  • Act as a source of advice and guidance for researchers at Keele on issues related to global research such as: development of funding proposals; establishing global research partnerships; delivery of global research projects
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Keele’s QR GCRF Strategy, to include advising on investment of QR GCRF funding
  • Lead by example, continuing to develop and/or deliver high quality and impactful global research projects
  • Work together to develop large-scale, cross-faculty GCRF or development-related research proposals
