OneHE announces Dr Julie Hulme as a convenor of its Global Subject Centre for Psychology

OneHE, the global network for educators, has announced the appointment of Dr Julie Hulme as the convenor of its Global Subject Centre for Psychology - among the first of a total of 30 Global Subject Centres that are planned.

Dr Hulme, is a Reader in Psychology at Keele University, and Chair of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Academics, Researchers and Teachers in, Psychology.

She is also a National Teaching Fellow, and Principal Fellow of the HEA, and was the former Discipline Lead for Psychology at the HEA.

Dr Hulme said: “I am delighted to be convening the Psychology Global Subject Centre, and excited to share practice and innovation with fellow psychology educators around the world.”

As a convenor, Dr Hulme will lead discussion and debate in the Global Subject Centre and, in return, receive free membership to OneHE while she serves as its convenor. The appointment is initially for one year. She will also be eligible to apply for higher levels of funding through the OneHE Foundation.

We have every confidence that their enthusiasm together with their passion for learning and teaching in their subjects, will mean that the Global Subject Centres will drive inclusive, innovative practice in and across the disciplines.”
