Volunteers wanted for research project:

Experiences of living with gout

Do you have gout?   Would you be willing to take part in a research project by sharing your experiences?

Researchers at Keele University are conducting a study to find out more about people’s experiences of living with gout. The aim of the new study in the ARUK Primary Care centre at Keele is to provide a section about gout on www.healthtalkonline.org – an award-winning website that contains interviews with people talking about their experiences of over 60 health-related conditions and illnesses.

The website will provide information for people with gout as well as their families and friends, and for health professionals involved in the care of people with gout.

Taking part in the research project would involve being interviewed about your experiences of gout. This would include talking about your thoughts and feelings, the information you were given, and what the overall experience of living with gout is like for you.
