Keele University Day Nursery is holding an open day to allow prospective parents to view the new state-of-the-art facilities.

Although based on the University campus, the nursery is open to the wider community, not just the children of Keele staff and students.

The purpose-built building, which comprises three blocks linked by a wide corridor that wraps around an internal courtyard space (or “outdoor classroom”), was opened by the Children's Commissioner for England, Dr Maggie Atkinson, in October last year.

The open day will take place on Saturday, March 16, from 10.30am to 2.30pm. There will be guided tours and an opportunity to speak to staff, along with a creche facility. Refreshments will be provided.

To book a place at the open day, please email or call 01782 733394. For more information and a gallery of images, see
