Enjoy spooky science on Halloween at Keele University Sustainability Hub

Posted on 11 October 2012

Keele University Sustainability Hub is running a Halloween science fayre for all ages.

Hub helpers will be available to show you how to make your own fake blood, gore and slime, while wannabe witches can make their own witch's brew or spooky smoothie.

There will also be a pumpkin carving workshop, sponsored by Sainsbury's in Newcastle, with a prize for the best-carved pumpkin. Pumpkins can be bought for £2 on the day or bring your own.

Staffordshire Bat Conservation Group and snakes and mini-beast experts, Walk on the Wild Side, will bring along some creepy creatures.

The Spooktacula event will take place on Wednesday 31st October from 2pm to 5.30pm at Keele University Sustainability Hub. Tickets cost £3 each, with a family ticket (2 adults and two children) for £10.
