The School of Pharmacy and Bioengineering at Keele is focused on providing the most up to date training and experience for all of our students. This includes our undergraduate MPharm and BSc students those who are studying one of our comprehensive program of post-graduate courses. Our aim is to produce graduates and post-graduates who are at the forefront of our profession and who can lead it into the future.
Welcome to our website and I hope to welcome you soon to our campus.
We are proud of our international reputation in Medicines Management, built upon over 25 years’ experience in this field. This expertise has directly influenced, and continues to influence, our undergraduate provision. Our courses are delivered by a dedicated team of staff, all with relevant experience and many still practising in their chosen sector of practice; this includes our team of clinical pharmacists and independent pharmacist prescribers as well as our active research scientists. We are constantly watching developments in pharmacy and pharmaceutical science to ensure that our courses can deliver the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values in our graduates that will see them through the early years of their careers.
The School has always been at the forefront of pharmacy education both in terms of content and delivery. Post-graduate distance learning programmes in clinical pharmacy were pioneered here and this heritage has helped shape our cutting-edge undergraduate degrees. We continue to develop innovative teaching and assessments through our use of technology including 3-D and augmented reality simulation.
All of our staff, from administrators to the Head of School, strive to ensure that our students have the best and most engaging educational experience possible during their time at Keele. We have a comprehensive student support package through our personal tutoring and professional mentoring programmes. All of this is set in one of the most beautiful university campuses in the UK and the thriving student community that is Keele University.
