Biography
Having a background in both community and primary care pharmacy, I joined the Dept. of Medicines Management at Keele University in 2002. Initially I supported the department's Service Level Agreement providing medicines management advice to primary care trusts across the West Midlands. In 2008 I moved to the undergraduate school of pharmacy firstly as an Academic Clinical Educator, taking students on hospital placements and teaching mainly therapeutics. I now lecture in pharmacy practice and teach on a range of subjects including dispensing skills and law and have a particular interest in medical ethics.
In 2019 I completed a professional doctorate on teaching ethics and professional decision-making, and am Deputy Chair of the FIP (International Pharmaceutical Federation) Expert Ethics Group.
