The university provides on-campus accommodation for full time postgraduate students who enrol in September. All bedrooms are for single occupancy and not suitable for couples.
Postgraduate accommodation is available for 51 weeks. This period begins the Saturday before the start of the academic year. If you are an international student then you will be asked to arrive the week before international orientation.
If you accept an offer of accommodation, you will need to send an advanced payment of £450. £300 of this is towards the first installment of your accommodation fees. The other £150 is for the deposit.
If you are arriving at a different time of the year and want to find out about available accommodation on-campus contact the Accommodation Office.

If you are a part-time student or wish to live with your family you will need to live off-campus; but we can help you find off-campus accommodation so don't worry! There will be limited on-campus accommodation for students arriving after September so these students may also want to investigate into off-campus accommodation. There are different ways of looking for off-campus accommodation through the university;
- A really useful website which can help you find a place to live with other students in newcastle-under-lyme is keelestudentpad.co.uk/Accommodation this website gives you the opportunity to chose options which best suit you to find accommodation.
- The student message board gives you the opportunity to talk to other students looking for accommodation and students who have rooms available. It is password protected to ensure only keele students are on the felsite. To obtain the password to the site all you need to do is email email@example.com from your Keele email address, quote your Student ID and state that you want access to the messages board.
- There is also a Facebook page called Keele Student Accommodation where you can find other students looking for accommodation or have a room available for a tenant. The page is run by the Keele Accommodation Team.
- There is also an off-campus guide which offers information and guidance when looking for off campus accommodation.
Remember! Don't struggle in silence if you can't find off-campus accommodation get in touch with either our Accommodation team or ASK (Advice and Support at Keele). Both will help you to find landlords and accommodation around the area.

Living with your Family
If you are coming to Keele with your family we recommend that you arrive on your own so that you can view the wide range of properties that are available. We can reserve you a room in our short stay accommodation whilst you look for off-campus accommodation. You can then arrange for the rest of the family to arrive later. The Student Accommodation Office can assist with all of this. All accommodation is subject to availability.

Lindsay Lodge - Single and twin rooms available for short stay (shared house).
Keele Management Centre (KMC) - On campus hotel
Off-campus hotels – there is a variety of hotels in the local area to meet your budget. Prices vary from £30 - £95 depending on the quality of the accommodation and length of stay. The Student Accommodation Office can book external hotel accommodation on your behalf.
6 Months and Longer
University Accommodation – please contact the Student Accommodation Office for further information on the availability of accommodation for families.
For either one semester or the academic year - one or two bedroom furnished flats/houses within the halls of residence. Shorter occupancies are available. You will need to pay a deposit and make a payment towards your first instalment. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on these flats and their availability.
Off-campus properties – accommodation in the local area varies in price from £220 to £850 per calendar depending on the quality of the accommodation.
