Following my medical degree (MBChB, University of Leicester) I have completed a Masters in Medical Education (University of Warwick) and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London). I completed my PhD at Keele in 2014.

Currently as I work as a Senior Lecturer at Keele and as a honarary Consultant Rheumatologist at the Haywood Rheumatology Centre. I am Clinical Lead for the Osteoporosis Service.

My research interests include management of osteoarthritis, consultation research and osteoporosis. I am currently involved in projects using a number of different methodologies  including qualitative methods epidemiology and trials.

My PhD involved using a mix of qualatitve, quantitative and observational methodology to explore the consultation in primary care of adults presenting with osteorarthritis.
