I have been employed as a researcher within the Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre at Keele University since 2009. I am a physiotherapist (University of Liverpool) and also have a BSc (hons) in Human Movement Science (University of Liverpool), an MSc in Sport Psychology (Liverpool John Moores University) and completed my doctorate in Clinical Epidemiology in 2014 (Keele University). I also hold an honorary clinical contract with the Haywood Hospital in Stoke on Trent where I work 2 days a week as a Musculoskeletal Out-Patient Physiotherapist.

My research interests are the clinical epidemiology and primary care management of common musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular interest in osteoarthritis. I contribute to a number of research programmes developing and delivering training for clinicians participating in both observational studies and clinical trials.
