I graduated from Keele University in 2004 with a BSc Psychology & English Dual Honours Degree. Following this I completed an MSc in Applied Psychology in 2005 at the University of Manchester.  In 2006 I was awarded a scholarship to undertake a PhD in Health Psychology at Staffordshire University. In 2010, after being awarded my Doctorate, I began working at The Centre for Ageing and Mental Health at Staffordshire University. I joined the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Keele University in 2015.
