Research and scholarship

I am currently completing my doctorate with a focus on education.  I am particularly interested in the effectiveness of curricula.  My doctorate focuses on the professional identity of newly qualified nurses.  My main areas of interest are education, mentorship and curriculum development.

As the School Deputy for Learning and Teaching my responsibilities include chairing a number of committees and groups within the school and acting as a representative for the school on a number of forums within the university.
I teach on a range of subjects to students in all years of the pre-registration nursing degree.
