Loss, Bereavement and Palliative Care Group
The School of Nursing and Midwifery (SNAM) Loss, Bereavement and Palliative Care research group welcomes academics, healthcare professionals and users and carers who are interested in, and committed to, improving the care of the dying and the support available to the bereaved.
Chair: Dr Kate Lillie
It is a small but active group. It has recently received funding for a project that aims to develop the understanding of how service user feedback can be used to enhance practice. It has a buddy system to support publication for people who have not published previously and has several members who are currently undertaking or considering a PhD or taught post doctorate in a related subject.
Sandra Ball administers the group and can be contacted on s.ball@keele.ac.uk
