Study Abroad Experiences

The School of Nursing and Midwifery is committed to encouraging students to take an international perspective to their studies and supports students interested in applying for international placements. Undergraduate students from all Nursing and Midwifery backgrounds have experienced practice in places as diverse as Holland to Australia, Tanzania, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.  More information about their experiences can be found here. The International Placement is an opportunity that is open to all students who meet the criteria. The opportunity for an international placement occurs during the second year for Midwifery students and in the third year for Nursing Students.
