New Student Social Space Areas Opened

The Vice-Chancellor took the opportunity to view the new social space areas in the Halls of Residences, before the areas were officially opened. The Social Space areas are at Barnes, Horwood, Lindsay , Hawthorns and the Oaks, although the Oaks is still under construction and due to be opened at a later date.

These areas will provide valuable meeting space for student activities, quiet study space; television facilities with access to international channels, vending facilities and be alcohol free. They are accessible by Keele card and all areas will be open to all students, including those who live off campus, to use during the day-time and early evening.
