What is a Musculoskeletal ('MSK') Matters Bulletin?

Since 2009, the Research Institute has been working in collaboration with Arthritis Research UK to produce a 'bulletin' which focusses on different aspects of muscuskeletal problems in primary care, with the aim to inform General Practitioners, Primary Care team, Teachers, Policy Makers and Patients about MSK problems in practice.

Below you will find downloadable versions of all of our previous bulletins. If you would like to receieve either a digital or hard copy of the Bulletin, then please ensure that you sign up to our mailing list.

Where do we get our data from?

Data sources for each bulletin include;

  • The Consultations in Primary Care Archive (CiPCA); a high quality general practice consultation database containing consultation information from 14 practices from the Keele GP Research Partnership
  • Epidemiological studies, including prospective cohort studies, and trials from the Keele Research Centre
  • External research studies
