Medicine Overseas Qualifications for Entry

Overseas applicants to the 5-year medicine degree (A100) must meet all entry requirements as follows:

  • Medicine International Qualifications for Entry (see below)
  • English Language requirements
  • BMAT: Those who are Overseas for fees must also sit the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) in the year they submit an application

Applicants meeting the academic criteria will be ranked on their BMAT score for interview.

The Certificate of (Complete) Secondary General Education (Վկայական միջնակարգ (լրիվ) ընդհանուր կրթության) is not a high enough level qualification to apply for medicine at Keele but may be considered if supplemented with A levels or an equivalent qualification.

Applicants would however be expected to have excellent marks in maths and sciences in their certificate of secondary education. English Language requirements must also be met.

Candidates are advised to write directly to the Admissions Office, giving full details of all exams already taken and to be taken.  As the examination system varies from state to state, and universities in Australia set their own faculty and course entry requirements, it is difficult to equate this system with English A levels.
