Unfortunately we are unable to consider requests to transfer to our Medicine degree under any circumstances.

Applicants undertaking a degree may apply during their final year through UCAS. Unfortunately we are unable to consider requests to transfer from other degree programmes. You should also check the relevant Visa advice for students wishing to take Medicine as a second degree.

Our degree is accredited through the General Medical Council. However recognition of international degrees can be country specific. We would suggest that you check the International Medical Education Directory to see if our degree is recognised in the country you are intending to work in.

Currently Keele invites international applicants to the UK to complete a Multi Mini Interview which is held in the David Weatherall Building, Keele University Campus. Typically around 30 international students are invited for interview from the 200 who apply for up to ten places.

We may host a specific interview day for international students, where we are able to offer tours of the building and a chance to meet staff, this is likely to be in March.

Applicants are invited for interview on the basis of high academic performance and BMAT test results.

Applicants should be 18 at the point of registration. This is due to early placements within the degree programme and child protection legislation.

Due to the complexities of the admissions process it is quite difficult to give an exact date. We do try and contact international students who have been selected for interview in advance to discuss possible interview dates. All offers should be made by 31 March.

We no longer offer a foundation route for international students. All applicants must meet our minimum entry criteria.

Currently we would advise you to check the government websites for up to date guidance on living and working in the UK.

You can find lots of information about Keele on our web pages.

10 per year.
