I joined Keele to lead the Learning and Professional Development Centre in 2011. I had previously been working nationally for the Higher Education Academy and have experience working in both English and Irish Universities leading institutional and Faculty educational enhancement and academic development. The Centre’s portfolio includes teaching and researcher development, staff and organisational development and educational enhancement. I am Co-Director of the MA in Learning and Teaching and have research interests in teaching excellence and the scholarship of teaching and learning. I am a Principal Fellow and Associate of the Higher Education Academy as well as an active member of the Staff and Educational Development Association.
I am currently working with Dr Cristina Devecchi developing our earlier research on leadership in Higher Education though an ILAS Fellowship and I am editing a SEDA Special on gaining recognition for your commitment to teaching and learning.
