Several Life Sciences staff were nominated for these student-led awards, with Dr Catherine Merrick winning the 'Superb Supervisor' Award.

Keele SU's Student Led Teaching Awards offer an opportunity for students to recognise teaching excellence at Keele. This may be someone who provides outstanding support, who inspires, challenges or lends a helping hand to Keele students.  This year, Life Sciences staff, including lecturers Dr Helen Price and Dr David Watson and teaching fellow Victoria Harris, were nominated for awards including 'Capitivating Lecturer' and 'Going the Extra Mile'.  Dr Catherine Merrick, Senior Lecturer in Biology, won the 'Superb Supervisor' award for exceptional supervision of research students.
