The Three Minute Thesis Competition challenges students to present a compelling spoken presentation on their research topic to entertain and inform an academic, but non-specialist, audience. The competition was offered as a session within the Keele Postgraduate Conference which took place on the 18th of April 2016. Hiba presented her thesis entitled: “The role of a novel phosphatase in breast cancer” and was selected to be the prize winner for the competition.  She is shown below receiving her award from Dean Jonathan Wastling and ProVC David Amigoni.
