Making Languages Work

Keele University’s Language Centre is holding an event for parents and Year 8 pupils interested in modern languages. Our aim is to highlight languages and employability through emphasis on progression routes for language learners and to make parents and pupils aware of the possibilities available to anyone who can speak a second, third or even fourth language.

Local schools have been contacted and based on previous year’s high demand, we have allocated 10 pupil places per school with accompanying parent(s) and siblings. We will operate a waiting list and distribute unused allocation to participating schools in mid-January.

Unfortunately this event has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

We hope parents and pupils will enjoy a fun filled event
