Biography
Sonja joined Keele University in March 2020 to supervise the Commercial Legal Advice Clinic. Having studied Classics at undergraduate level, Sonja completed the CPE and LPC and qualified as a Solicitor specialising in litigation in 2003. Working in very different environments, from a niche practice to an international firm, she acted for clients and businesses of all sizes. Since 2010 Sonja has been teaching law and legal practice to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Outside of the law, Sonja enjoys travel (especially by train) and open water swimming.
Teaching
Sonja is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
