Konstanze Von Papp port

Dr Konstanze von Papp holds degrees from the Universities of Tübingen (first and second state examination), Aix-Marseille III (maîtrise en droit international), Columbia Law School (LLM), and Heidelberg University (Dr iur).

Before returning to academia, Konstanze was a Senior Associate with Allen and Overy LLP, London. She is dual qualified as German Rechtsanwältin and Solicitor of England and Wales, including Higher Rights of Audience.

Most recently, Konstanze was a Career Development Fellow at the University of Oxford. Before that, she was a Visiting Researcher at Boston University. Her academic interests (both teaching and research) lie mainly in European Union law, Fundamental Rights Protection in Federal Systems (US and EU compared), International Economic Law, and International Arbitration. Konstanze has published in German legal journals, the Common Market Law Review, the Journal of World Investment and Trade, and Legal Issues of Economic Integration.

 

Her current research focus is on the relationship between European Union law and international investment treaty law and arbitration.
