Making Law Work Talks

Theme 1 - Family Law and post Brexit

 

Beeston Shenton Solicitors have become an employer partner of Keele Universities Law School and we are delighted to embark on a new initiative to create a forum and a series of talks.   

 

‘Making Law Work’ talks are aimed at raising awareness of how potential changes post Brexit and how implications may affect the Law and the work of many Law firms.   

 

A number of law firms from around the Midlands are invited to the talks, which aim to become a network of Law firms with similar research interests. Large businesses with an interest in the subject matter will also be invited and expert high profile speakers are lined up to deliver talks in the first event including;

Other aspects of the partnership between Keele and Beeston Shenton include the commitment to facilitate a regular paid 12-month work placement for third-year Keele law students and paid undergraduate placements working as part time interns at the company. These Keele Talent programmes will enable the lawyers of tomorrow to gain an invaluable insight and hands-on experience in the daily running and activities of a busy local law firm.
