Prof Alex Sharpe opposes prosecution in Gayle Newland case

Gayle Newland was convicted today at Manchester Crown Court (and for a second time after her original conviction was set aside by the Court of Appeal). She was convicted of three counts of assault by penetration on the basis of gender identity fraud.
