Professor Gurch Randhawa presents "Inequalities in Organ Donation - is this a case for opt out ?"
Professor Gurch Randhawa will present a workshop with CCLP students on "Inequalities in Organ Donation - is this a case for opt out?" on Wednesday 7 February 2018, 2pm, Chancellor’s Building, Moot Court Room.
Although the workshop is part of our CCLP Masters’ Children and Medicine module it is open to anyone with an interest: undergraduates, postgraduates, staff and the public.
Gurch Randhawa is Professor of Diversity in Public Health and Director of the Institute for Health Research at Bedfordshire University. He is the Co-Chair of the European Working Party on Public Issues in Organ Donation and Transplantation, and a member of UK Donation Ethics Committee. His research focuses on the development of patient-centred care pathways in diabetes, kidney disease, transplantation, and end-of-life care amongst diverse communities.
