Students from different law schools (and from different law courses) interview role-playing clients about hypothetical problems.  They are in teams of two and are assessed on their interviewing skills and their application of the law. The national competition has encouraged the skills of client interviewing since 1984. The scenarios this year are based on issues arising for Residential Neighbours.

10 regional events took place on 8-10th February 2017. Three teams took part at each with each team undertaking two different interviews with a new client. For the Midland region Derby Keele and Leicester took part.

Congratulations to the 10 winning teams that have qualified for the national finals on 11th March 2017. The winning teams  are:

North East: Sunderland, North 1: Sheffield Hallam, North 2: Sheffield, Midlands: Derby,

East: Hertfordshire, South Central: Oxford Brookes, London 1: Greenwich, London 2: Law (Moorgate),

South: Sussex, and South West: Plymouth.
