Keele Student Law Society welcomed 22 legal professionals to their annual legal dining event

On Friday night Keele Student Law Society welcomed 22 legal professionals to their annual legal dining event at Keele Hall. The legal dining event is an opportunity for Keele law students to network in a formal dining environment with alumni and other influential lawyers from across the country.

Our guests were from local, national and international law firms and chambers. The feedback from both students and professionals was of a very enjoyable evening and impressive students.

We were welcomed by Professor Alison Brammer (Head of the School of Law) and Student Law Society President Jessica Oldham and Vice President Jordan Everill gave an inspiring speech about the ‘Keele Difference.’ Paul Dutch from Perrin Myddelton talked about his career from Keele to the City law firm experience and working on the Olympics as a Commercial Property Solicitor. Pupil Barrister Georgia Griffiths (Cornwall Street chambers) talked about her journey from Keele to the Bar and Rebecca Yates (Head of Law BPP North West) inspired our students to be ambitious, take risks and enjoy their legal careers.
