Felicity Adams has been accepted for the interdisciplinary conference Prison Abolition, Human Rights, and Penal Reform

Felicity Adams paper “Painting the Walls Pink, White, and Blue: Challenging the Expansion of the Carceral Nation by Exploring the Relationship between Gender Responsivity, GC Feminism and Carceral Feminism in the UK” has been accepted for the interdisciplinary conference Prison Abolition, Human Rights, and Penal Reform to be held at The University of Texas at Austin, on September 26—28, 2019.

Her paper will be part of a larger panel on “Unintended Consequences of Reform".

Felicty has also been awarded a travel scholarship bursary by the Bernard and Audre Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice for up to $1,000.
