Today saw the culmination of this year’s Applied Company Research Project at our Student Consultant of the Year event. Postgraduate students from Keele Management School recently completed summer work placements at a range of different Staffordshire businesses across a broad range of sectors as part of their Masters degree course.

The consultancy programme provides an opportunity for organisations to benefit from the knowledge and enthusiasm of bright, highly motivated students who are keen to learn and eager to produce work of a high standard under the supervision of a Keele Management School academic.

The Student Consultancy Project runs for ten weeks over the summer and students go through an application and interview process for a chance to work with a business on a real project. The projects this year have enabled students to work in businesses in sectors including sport, accessories, design, software, chair and environmental.

After presentations from the three finalists, invited guests including Staffordshire companies and fellow postgraduate students voted for the overall winner, International Business student, Richard Staunton.
