I am a classically trained and professionally qualified careers professional with nearly 20 years’ experience. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and holder of the Masters in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. As well as teaching Careers and Employability within the curriculum I regularly contribute to credit bearing modules including teaching the SPIRE Work Experience module.

I am also a member of the Midlands International Group, a collective of careers and employability professionals from 16 different universities, who develop resources, provide advice, guidance, support and learning experiences for international students.

I have an interest in and actively participate in employability research, specifically graduate level CVs and the use of technology to enhance student feedback for which I have presented at both national and international conferences.
