My interests lie in how we can make our assessment and feedback practices work more productively for staff and students through assessment literacy and innovative approaches to feedback. I am interested in how offering choice in assessment can give students a sense of control of, and improve engagement with their learning. I am tutor on the MA in Higher Education Practice and programme lead for the Introduction to Teaching and Demonstrating (ITAD) course for doctoral researchers and sessional teaching staff. I am a Senior Fellow of the HEA.
