I studied my PhD at Keele University before becoming a Teaching Fellow in the School of Psychology in 2017 and then a Lecturer (Education & Scholarship) in 2019. I am a Fellow of the HEA. My PhD research investigated experiences of adolescents with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Since taking on the Disability Liaison Officer role in 2018, I have a particular interest in supporting University students with disabilities and other health conditions. In January 2020 I was made an Access and Participation Fellow with KIITE to work on narrowing the gaps between disabled and non-disabled students.
