Keele Education Conference 2021

Education: Then. Now. Next.

The Keele Education Conference 2021 will look back over an extraordinary year and appraise the shift in educational delivery we have achieved.

Our aim is to map the ways we adapted and enhanced our learning, teaching and student support, and to distil and preserve the innovations we might embed in our future curriculum. It will look back at what we did, take stock of what we are designing now, and look ahead to the more radical ways we can embed new ways of engaging and guiding students to success.

The conference will reference the Flexible Digital Education resources built to support innovation, and explore Keele’s Curriculum Design Framework, recently published to underpin Social Learning, and shape future module and programme design.

The conference this year will be online and delivered via Microsoft Teams, and we will be mixing Keele-based presentations with keynotes and guest speakers. Presentations will be in familiar formats of 15-minute presentation and 5-minute lightning talks. We will be wrapping the 'live' presentations and panels with digital opportunities to contribute to questions and debate before and after the scheduled time to provide opportunity for participation.
