This presentation aims to describe a range of resources and support activities developed for students on the Applied Chemistry NXU-Keele joint degree, which ran from 2015 to 2019. We will highlight the importance of collaborative work and sharing of best practice, within the Chemistry teaching team, but also with colleagues on other TNE programmes across Keele and other Chemistry UK-China TNE programmes, as well as the Language Centre at Keele. Some examples of work done include evaluating student’s expectations of studying in the UK before and after coming to the UK, joint group work between international and home students, dedicated laboratory modules, development of captioned video resources, mock exams, assessment briefings and general assessment literacy work; we will include a discussion on how these resources and activities can be more widely used or adapted for international students on any degree.
