JADE Student Learning Undergraduate Conference

Thursday 30 May 2019

On Thursday 30 May 2019, students and staff from across the University gathered together for the JADE Student Learning Undergraduate Conference, jointly arranged by the Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences (ILAS) and the Keele Institute for Innovation and Teaching Excellence (KIITE).

This annual event, held at Keele Hall, is now in its fourth year. Its mission is to provide a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to gain first-hand experience of presenting at an academic conference. Students can submit abstracts for a 20-minute oral presentation, a 5-minute lightning talk or a poster presentation. This year, over 40 students were accepted to present.

On the day, delegates were asked to vote for their favourite presentation in each category. The winning presentations can be viewed by following the links below, or alternatively, you can watch the full conference programme via the playlist at the bottom of the page.
