Peter (“Peter K.C. Lee” in publications) joined Keele Business School in 2021 as a Lecturer in Operations Management. Prior to that, he was an Associate Professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He gained a PhD from The University of Hong Kong, an MBA from Cardiff University, and a BEng (Hon) from the University of Birmingham. He also has practical experience in production management and service operations via working in companies in Hong Kong and China.

Research and scholarship

My research is broadly concerned with sustainability, innovation management, and digitalisation from an operations or supply chain management perspective. I am an active researcher with publications that appear in journals such as the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, etc. I welcome enquiries from potential PhD students with research interests in relevant areas and the use of innovative empirical methodologies.
