Crossing Paths

Connecting and constructing across the disciplines

Conference Date: Friday 28th April 2017 11.00am - 4.00pm

**Second call for abstracts**

Deadline: Friday 17th March 2017
Venue: Keele Hall Ballroom

The Institute’s second postgraduate conference, Crossing Paths, will celebrate the range and diversity of postgraduate work in the University and offers a different and alternative opportunity, in addition to those available within the faculties and research institutes.

All postgraduate students are invited to share their work in progress and present their research, dissertation project and course-related posters to a cross disciplinary audience of peers, students and staff.  The challenge here is to communicate this in an accessible and inspiring way to an informed, but non-specialist audience.

Participants are expected to present their work as a poster, although artefacts or performance may also be offered and we are inviting abstracts, or poster titles which will be included in the conference handbook.

We hope that as many research and taught students as possible will wish to take an active part in this innovative conference format; they will gain valuable experience of presenting to a wider academic community and in communicating their research to a non-specialist audience. This year we are delighted to be working with JADE to present a special conference journal edition which will include the conference abstracts and papers will be invited from all presenters.

If you are not presenting, please do come along, support colleagues and enjoy the programme.

The conference is open to visitors at any time during the day. If you wish to attend for the conference programme and for catering purposes please register by Friday 17th March 2017.

Please register using your Keele account e-mail address.
