Biography
Kelly studied as a mature student with the Open University, gaining a first-class BA (Hons) in English Literature. She came to Keele University in 2016 to study MA English Literatures gaining a distinction. In 2018, she commenced a PhD in Film Studies under the supervision of film-maker and academic, Dr. Pawas Bisht.
Research and scholarship
Kelly is currently researching innovations in contemporary documentary cinema. Her research interests include memory studies, trauma studies, hauntology and historical narratives, and documentary film studies.
