Mariangela Palladino and Maria Flood launch their monographs

On 25 April 2018, the School of Humanities held a book launch to celebrate the work of two lecturers, Dr Mariangela Palladino (Senior Lecturer in Postcolonial Studies) and Dr Maria Flood (Lecturer in Film).

Mariangela's book, Ethics and Aesthetics in Toni Morrison's Fiction, was published by Brill, and examines the ethical import of Morrison's narrative style.

Maria's book, France, Algeria, and the Moving Image: Screening Histories of Violence, 1963-2010, published by Legenda, explores the importance of audio-visual representation in discussions of colonization and past and present violence.

Congratulations both!
