Biography

I am a PhD student in Criminology at Keele. I have recently completed an MSc at Liverpool Hope University studying the effects of performance management and targets on roads policing officers. My background is in Forensic Collision Investigation and Roads Policing. I live in Liverpool with my Wife, and our young daughter.

Research and scholarship

My research project is looking at the role of artificial intelligence and ‘big data’ in reducing fatal road collisions, and road enabled criminality. I am researching the developmental aspects of a computer-based system which could be used to research, and task those involved in road safety with an overall aim to ensure our road network is safe, secure and efficient.
