About this event:

In this session we will explore ethnography and its challenges. Drawing on doing fieldwork in unfamiliar places, and on living in the fieldsite that becomes home, I will discuss a tried and tested method, participant observation, and the challenges (and traps!) it could pose. I will reflect on boundaries, relationships, ethical issues and efforts (not) to ‘go native’.
