Keele Academics Invited To Rehab Week 2017

Professor Anand Pandyan, School of Health and Rehabilitation and Dr Ed Chadwick from the Institute for Science and Technology in Medicine joined Mr Simon Pickard from the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital (RJAH) to present an invited session on recent advances in surgical rehabilitation and functional restoration for the upper limb in spinal cord injury at Rehab Week 2017. Mr Naveen Kumar from the West Midlands Spinal Injuries Unit at RJAH chaired the session organised by the British Society for Rehabilitation Medicine.

"Rehab Week", which took place at the QE2 Conference Centre in London from the 17th to the 21st of July, saw in excess of 1200 delegates from around the world come together to discuss the future of rehabilitation and share their latest research. The cross-disciplinary conference included delegates from the British Society for Rehabilitation Medicine, the International Conference on Rehabilitation Robotics, the International Functional Electrical Stimulation Society and the International Neurorehabilitation Symposium.
