It is close to home and I loved the atmosphere and the area of Keele. The staff were very welcoming and were interested in what I had to say.

What are the strengths of the course?
The course has a variety of modules allowing geography students to follow both human and physical geography pathways, there is also a variety of assessments and there are fantastic resources available online (and at the library) to assist learning.

What are your career aspirations?
I aspire to be in the field of sustainability and to make a difference in the world. I am looking into doing a Masters course.

How is this course helping you to reach your career aspirations?
It has given me the skills needed to become who I am today – a motivated and thoughtful individual. I am able to use a variety of software and equipment. Geography allows you to see connections between everything and to look at the wider picture.

What is your advice to anybody considering studying geology geography at Keele?
The more effort you put into your degree the more you will get out of it, so put in the effort from the start.
