GGE launch an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme
GGE have launched an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme, with the aim of creating a a shared space for the co-production of research
To encourage and recognise the collaborative research between staff and undergrads within GGE a programme has been established to centralise and galvanize these activities. The school of Geography, Geology and the Environment Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (GGE UROP) exists to be mutually beneficial; for the students they have the opportunity to participate in an (extra curricular) active research environment which is HEAR recordable, for staff they could enable a pilot project towards a grant application, support a section of an ongoing project, develop students who might continue under their supervision in their studies, and help disseminate research and its impact to the student cohort.
