International Study at Keele GGE
Our School welcomes applications from International Students across all our Programmes.
We have a global network of successful GGE graduates from South Africa to Hong Kong, Cyprus to New Zealand who will all tell you we are a friendly, open and inclusive School. You’ll be taught by staff who come from Australia, Canada, Germany, Malaysia and Mauritius and by many more who have worked internationally and do international fieldwork, too.
When you arrive at Keele, you receive a bespoke international induction. In the School, you will meet your Personal Tutor (for undergraduates) or supervisor (for postgraduates) as well as your Programme Director. We encourage you to join our GeoSociety as well as participate in our one-day and residential fieldwork.
With a focus on small-group, seminar and workshop-style teaching, practicals and labs, it will be easy to make friends and find your way around. You’ll see lots of familiar faces and soon feel at home on our beautiful, rural campus.
We know international students can need specialist advice, too. We can help you find that, whether its information on visas and immigration from Keele’s International Office or one-to-one sessions to support your writing from the English Language Unit.
After a Keele undergraduate degree, our international students may go on to further study in the UK or return to their home country to begin their careers.
"The support from teachers and staff members is one of encouragement, care and love, they ensure all students are heard and their problems are attended to individually giving it a nurturing take which I think is very important and to me makes Keele a unique and special university."Read more about Muna Hassan, Environmental Science student
